Milano Fashion Week from a second row

fashion month is gone with a wind and I am finally back to my usual life ( planning editorials, taking photos, editing, writing emails, marketing, and networking, and beeing a mom and wife). My MFW with runways and showrooms seems to be far away!
Don’t get me wrong this month was exactly how I want to live my life: full of editorial photography, fashion, and fun. Quite every fashion girl dreams about it. And I was working a lot to reach what I have now and it’s just a beginning.
Let’s talk about my experience at MFW and the influencers war with some Vogue editors, about street style and shows.
It was really fascinating to look at those fashion people chatting and snapchatting before the shows. It was very satisfying to participate in the shows like Laura Biagiotti, Alberto Zambelli, Aigner etc together with influencers I was following for awhile. Of course, of course, it’s not only roses here… For example, I didn’t have time to eat and my favorite meal became espresso or little cappuccino at the Italian bar. If I was lucky to have a bit of time I was charging my iPhone batteries every time I got coffee.
And then -Heels! Yes, I am a heel user lately but believe me to run from one show to other in heels made my feets hurt so much that after the first MFW day I put my new Adidas slippers in my nice Velvet bag! In any case, they are super top now and I would look very much fashionista wearing Adidas slippers.
Talking about fashionistas still can’t get enough how much inspiration I got during this Fashion Month! And you know why? because I have seen so many girls with such a great street style which you will never see on Vogue or Harper’s Bazaar or Elle… Because they are not the Top influencers or maybe they are not dressed with high-end brands from head to toes.
Here comes my opinion I wanted to express about “the war” some Vogue editors have with TOP Influencers.
TOP Influencers make their job and they influence, of course, they put on the High-end brands for money (I would do it as well!), but they would have less influence if the same magazines that criticize would NOT publish only TOP influencers photos!
Come on! look at the NFW, LFW, MFW, PFW best street style photos from those top fashion magazines and you will see the same 20 girls in every magazine over again!
So, my point is, if you would publish more “real” street style photos you would not need to come and criticize later.
Don’t you agree?
ps. I was alone, I am not the Top influencer (yet), I was not wearing any YSL or D&G (again yet!), so I don’t have photos of my look even though I felt more than great in my new vintage dress or other looks. But here are some impressions
